Electric Shuffle is a hospitality-led social entertainment venue centred around competitive shuffleboard, combining immersive interior design with food, drink and team-based gameplay. Designed to support group play and social interaction, the concept balances playful energy with a warm, neighbourhood-focused atmosphere across venues in the UK and USA.

The experience is built around custom-designed shuffleboard tables, proprietary game formats and integrated camera-vision technology, creating an engaging and intuitive environment for social play. These technical elements are carefully integrated within a high-quality hospitality setting, ensuring the venues function as both game-led destinations and welcoming bar environments.

During her tenure as Head of Interiors at Red Engine, Deirdre Hayes collaborated with the founder and CEO to evolve and strengthen the Electric Shuffle brand. She led the creative direction for interiors, establishing the design principles that defined the concept and guided its rollout across the UK and USA. Building on the success of Flight Club, she reimagined Electric Shuffle’s look and feel to create a more welcoming, neighbourhood-focused environment that balanced playful energy with refined, residential-inspired design.

Her work included the redesign of the shuffle tables to feel more like crafted furniture pieces, tactile, warm, and adaptable, offering greater flexibility for layout and brand expression. Deirdre also oversaw the development of bespoke furniture and lighting collections, ensuring visual cohesion and consistency across all venues. The result was a distinctive and confident design language that reinforced the brand’s identity and broadened its appeal.
