Studio Hayes was founded by interior designer Deirdre Hayes. Originally from Ireland, Deirdre studied Interior Architecture & Furniture Design in Dublin before building an international career spanning Sydney and London.

With over 18 years’ experience, she has worked across hospitality, leisure and commercial interiors, leading the design of award-winning social entertainment venues, character-led hospitality projects and large-scale developments in the UK and internationally.

Her experience spans both design consultancy and client-side leadership, including several years as Head of Interior Design for a global hospitality operator. This gives her a valuable perspective on both sides of the process, balancing creative ambition with the commercial, operational and practical considerations that shape a successful project.

At Studio Hayes, every project is director-led and collaborative. Deirdre works closely with clients to understand the brief, the brand and the wider business objectives, creating interiors that feel distinctive, considered and relevant to the people who use them.

The studio believes that well-designed spaces should do more than look good. They should bring people together, tell a story and create a lasting connection between people and place. The result is thoughtful, layered interiors with a clear sense of identity, designed to work well, feel memorable and stand the test of time.
